I have learned so much from living in New Orleans, and as I approach my 38th birthday (August 16th) and 20th anniversary of living in such a unique place... I often reflect on how this city has shaped me. If you asked me 20 years ago if I would still be living in Louisiana, the answer certainly would have been "hell no," yet here I am. Which makes me realize how special New Orleans is to me. This city has held me captive, which is both good and bad. That's a story for another day and likely worthy of a book. Despite the tough lessons learned here, I am thankful for all of the bonds that I have made and the opportunities that were afforded to me here. I made the most of each and every opportunity. Since graduating from UNO in 2002 with a BA degree in Communication I have been busy. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to work for Radio Disney, Feld Entertainment and the New Orleans Saints. I am grateful for those years that shaped my career but most of all shaped me as a person and not just as an employee.
In 2007 I obtained an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. That afforded me an opportunity to teach Marketing, Business and Management courses at Delgado Community College, where I have now been teaching for the past 10 years. I have also taught courses at Herzing University, Southern New Hampshire University and Nunez Community College. I own two small companies, Super Star Events & Promotions L.L.C. and Sampson Marketing Communications L.L.C. I am looking forward to growing each in 2018. Besides working I enjoy photography, writing and traveling.
I look forward to sharing more about myself as I continue to live, learn and grow. This site is just my place to share my photos, life stories, travel adventures and more. I am striving to live my best life and hopefully I can inspire others to do the same along the way.
